Our 2026 Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest has wrapped up, and it’s time to celebrate the pets—and the people—who made it special! Thank you to everyone who entered, voted, donated, shared, or joined Daisy’s Legacy at Courthaus Social on October 31.
Together, you helped raise $386 through the online contest for animals in need. Every entry and every act of kindness matters. The costumes may be packed away, but the care our rescue dogs need continues.

Help us keep caring for dogs in need
Veterinary care, medications, spay and neuter procedures, food, supplies, and transportation are ongoing responsibilities. Please help us meet the needs of the dogs already depending on Daisy’s Legacy.
Could you give $10, $25, $50, or another amount today? A one-time gift helps with care now. A monthly donation gives us dependable support as dogs recover and wait for loving homes.

Meet your new best friend
Our recent adoption spotlights include Jhene, Doggy, and Ouija. Could one of these sweet faces be the companion your family has been waiting for?
Jhene: female, approximately 1 year old and 15 lb.
Doggy: male, approximately 2 years old and 17 lb.
Ouija: male, approximately 1 year old and 13.8 lb.
Please check our current adoption profiles for availability and each dog’s needs. A loving match takes patience, preparation, and a commitment to lifelong care.
Already approved? Email info@daisyslegacy.org about the dog you’re interested in and arranging a meet-and-greet.
Open your home: become a foster
Not ready to adopt? A temporary home can make an enormous difference. Fosters give dogs a calm place to rest, settle in, and begin learning what it means to be safe and loved.
We need caring people willing to help dogs through this transition. Tell us about your household, availability, and the types of dogs you can welcome so we can discuss a suitable match and the support involved.
