At Daisy’s Legacy, we recognize the unique and vital role that service animals play in the lives of military veterans. Our Military Veteran Caregiver Assistance Program is designed to provide much-needed support to veterans and their caregivers.

This program helps ensure that service animals and their human companions have access to the resources they need for a healthy, fulfilling life. From emergency veterinary care to food, supplies, and specialized equipment, our mission is to alleviate the challenges faced by caregivers and support the incredible bond between veterans and their service animals.

Program Benefits

Our program offers the following assistance to eligible caregivers and their service animals, subject to available funding:

• Emergency Veterinary Care
  Financial support for critical medical treatments to keep service animals healthy and active. If available, payments will be made directly to the veterinary provider.
• Food and Supplies
  Providing pet food, medications, and essential supplies to ensure service animals’ well-being.
• Special Equipment or Modifications
  Funding for specialized equipment, such as mobility aids or safety harnesses, to support service animals and their handlers.
• Additional Caregiver Support
  Offering resources, such as clothing and essential items, to caregivers to ensure they can provide the best care for their service animals.

Eligibility and How to Apply

This program is open to military veterans and their caregivers who demonstrate a need for assistance with their service or ESA animals. Applicants must complete the form below and provide any required documentation to be considered for support.
