A scared dog abandoned at a shelter. A senior surrendered after years with a family. A puppy needing emergency surgery. A neglected dog with nowhere else to go.
For Daisy’s Legacy, saying “yes” means giving another animal a chance to live.
Over the past two years, thanks to your incredible support, we have rescued hundreds of dogs, provided lifesaving medical care, found loving foster homes, and matched deserving animals with forever families. Every happy adoption is possible because compassionate people like you stand beside us.
But today, we need your help.
🩺 Our Veterinary Bills Continue to Grow
Many of the dogs we rescue arrive needing extensive medical care. Some require emergency surgery, dental procedures, eye surgery, orthopedic procedures, treatment for infections, heartworm treatment, or months of rehabilitation before they are healthy enough for adoption.
Before a dog is ready for a forever home, Daisy’s Legacy provides care such as:

- 💉 Core vaccinations
- ✂️ Spay or neuter surgery
- 📍 Microchipping
- 🦟 Heartworm testing and treatment when needed
- 🪱 Deworming and parasite prevention

- 🚑 Emergency and specialty veterinary care
These medical expenses add up quickly, and veterinary care remains our largest expense as an organization.
We never want to turn away a dog simply because treatment is expensive.
❤️ Spotlight: Solace Needs Your Help
One of our newest rescues, Solace, spent over a month waiting in a shelter before finally getting his freedom ride.
After arriving in our care, he was diagnosed with kennel cough and began antibiotics. Now that he’s recovering, his neuter and surgery on both eyes are scheduled for August 12.
Thanks to generous supporters, we’ve raised about $200, but we’re still far from our fundraising goal.
