Today, Daisy’s Legacy was proud to attend a community event where we had the opportunity to further important conversations about pet safety and advocacy. We followed up on our discussions with Senator Barbara A. Favola, Delegate Patrick Hope, and Delegate Alfonso Lopez about improving pharmacy protocols and ensuring that medication errors, like the one that led to Daisy’s tragic passing, never happen again.
In addition to these discussions, we were thrilled to meet Congressman Don Beyer. We have scheduled a meeting with his staff next week to continue advocating for stronger regulations and better safety practices in the pet care industry. These meetings are critical steps toward legislative action that will protect both pets and their families.
